Baby Farms began as a nursery near the Big Banyan Tree in Tavarekere, growing tropical wood and plants long before it became a workshop. Over time, the offcuts and fallen timber that once went unused became something else in the hands of our carvers — birds, mushrooms, wind chimes, whole tabletop menageries.
Today we run both sides of that same plot: a landscape practice that designs and plants tropical gardens, and a small workshop that hand-carves what the land gives us into termite-free décor and gifts — for homes, offices, and everything in between.
What we hold onto
Wood comes from our own nursery grounds and trusted local growers — nothing shipped in from unknown origins.
Every piece passes through a carver's hands. That means small variations, and a lot more character.
Our forms — birds, mushrooms, tortoises, dragonflies — come straight from the garden we grew up tending.
From a single wind chime to a bulk corporate order, every piece is finished as something worth giving.
